WHAT'S ON APRIL 2009?

We are getting geared up for another busy season here at the Waterfont and have loads of acts to keep you going over the next few months. We look forward to seeing all you regular Waterfront music lovers and hopefully lots of new faces. We have a mixture of old favourites and new acts to come. Watch this space for updates on what's happening over the summer. Don't forget to check out the new menu's in the Bar and Restaurant, have a slap up dinner before you hit the dance floor!

Friday April 9th 2009 - "THE ASSASENACHS" - This duo describe them selves as "folk with attitude" and we tend to agree! The do a mixture of melodic and funky folk covers. Ask if they know your favourite, you never know........

Saturday April 10th - "THE ZODIACS"- The first time Jim and his band have played at the Waterfront as The Zodiacs is not to be missed. Thier mixture of blues and rock covers never fails to get the crown twisting on the dance floor till closing. One of our favourires.

Thursday 16th April - "OPEN MIC NIGHT" - We absolutely love the Open Mic Nights at the Waterfront! Folk come from far and wide to take the mic and do thier thang. Whether you play the guitar, violin, keyboard or comb bring along your gear and show us what your made of! Contact the Waterfront Bar for deatails - over 18's only.

Friday 24th April - "TIM O'CONNER"- Tim is a new act to the Waterfront. He is coming all the way from the big smoke to entertain Oban with some thumping rock covers. Come along and support him, it's promising to be a great night!
