The Waterfront Bar Oban
The Waterfront Bar is a thriving hub near the centre of Oban. Situated underneath the Waterfront Restaurant it is very much a part of it, yet retains its own identity. Styled as a modern city pub, we have a good selection of wines, spirits and beers, a pool table and good quality locally sourced bar food which is served all day. There is no compromise with the food just because it is served in a bar - it is the same team behind it as the restaurant upstairs, and it is all cooked from fresh.
As well as bar stools, there are tables on the lower level, and a raised area with booth type seating. Ideal as a meeting place, you can sit and catch up with the latest gossip with friends or work colleagues. Enjoy a coffee and homebaking from 10.30am.
We offer take away fish & chips, our usual quality of fish and chips, but available to take out!
DEPARTURES & ARRIVALS
Watch the departures and arrivals of the ferries and trains via the screens in the bar, so you won't miss a thing, or ideal for when you are meeting people!
LIVE MUSIC
The bar is also a venue for live music. The Open Mic Night is already a firm favourite with Oban folk, featuring music from many of the local bands and musicians in the area, but visitors are also welcome to join in! Many of the perfomances are filmed and are shown on YouTube.
There are also regular themed nights, for example to celebrate St Patrick's Day, and fancy dress is encouraged!
